In the course of delivering an advertisement or measuring the effectiveness of an advertising campaign, mediaglu does not collect personally identifiable information about you. Personally identifiable information includes data such as your name, address, phone number, social security number, or email address. mediaglu does collect non-personally identifiable information about you, for the use of targeting ads and measuring the effectiveness of ads on behalf of mediaglu’s advertisers. This non-personally identifiable data includes information such as: domain type, browser, operating system, keyboard language, internet service provider, IP address, whether you viewed an ad, clicked on an ad, and how your interacted with our advertiser’s web sites.
mediaglu uses this non-personal information to create data segments and to measure campaign efficacy. mediaglu also obtains information from 3rd party data providers who collect information such as behavioral, contextual, and demographic data. For example, if you visit a number of parenting websites, you may be categorized as a parent.
mediaglu does not collect data or create data segments that are based upon what we consider to be sensitive information, such as detailed financial information and sensitive medical conditions. We do not use any data segments to determine credit worthiness, for insurance underwriting or similar purposes. Additionally, we do not collect information identifying users as children.
Like most Internet sites, mediaglu uses “cookies” to enhance user’s experience on the Web. mediaglu cannot use these cookies to personally identify you in any way, and these cookies in no way damage your system or files.
A mediaglu cookie is a unique number that is assigned to you the first time mediaglu serves you an ad or identifies you on a client’s website. This number is stored in a file on your computer and helps us deliver the optimal ad to you. For instance, cookies help mediaglu ensure that you don’t repeatedly see the same advertisement. Cookies can also help advertisers measure how you utilize an advertiser’s site and the effectiveness of an advertisement. This information can then be used by advertisers to better cater to your needs and deliver to you the types of ads in which you are more interested.
Although mediaglu believes that cookies help enhance your experience on the Web by delivering more relevant messages to you, mediaglu does not need cookies to deliver ads to you. mediaglu sets our cookies to expire after one years and the expiration date updates every time you encounter our server. mediaglu retains the web log data for ninety days and aggregations and reports for up to three years.
In addition to cookies, mediaglu may use transparent 1×1 gifs and/or collect IP Addresses and device IDs to help our platform understand how you interact with our advertiser’s websites. IP Address and device IDs allow us the measure consumer interactions on mobile devices.
mediaglu may publish or otherwise make public anonymous, aggregate, or summary information regarding our Site visitors and campaigns run on behalf of our clients. mediaglu may share visitor level data with an advertiser, restricted to include only data associated with the client’s campaigns. mediaglu will never share consumer data with any third parties. These also may be instances when we may need to disclose visitor information in order to: protect the legal rights of mediaglu or its employees, agents, or contractorsl protect the safety and security of our Website; protect against fraud; or to comply with law or legal process. If mediaglu sells all or part of its business or makes a sale or transaction of assets or its otherwise involved in a merger or business transfer, we may transfer visitor information to a third party as part of that transaction.
Since mediaglu does not collect personally identifying information (such as your full name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, or credit card number) (“PII”) we do not maintain a process for an individual to review and/or request changes to his or her PII.
